| HRR Detail* | Ora Lee Fletcher; Notes on family buried at Rubottom Cemetary, from Barbara Warthen Wallace, 19 Nov 2003: Will and Ora Warthen are buried in the Rubottom Cemetery and have a large double grave marker. I have stood in front of it many times over the years. When you enter the gate into the cemetery continue south to the back fence and move right down the fence perhaps 15 feet. My cousin Emma Lee Edgemon Curb has placed flowers on their grave yearly for probably 30 years. She is the daughter of Ada Slack Edgemon, who was the daughter of Ora Lee Fletcher and her first husband George Washington Slack. Also buried near Will and Ora are my two infant sisters, daughters of Guy G. & Rena Chitwood Warthen. -Juanita Louise Warthen- b. 9 April 1930 d. 9 April 1930 Rubottom Cemetery -Betty Jean Warthen- b. 2 February 1931 d. 15 Feb 1931 Rubottom Cemetery They have small matching stones that are unreadable in 2003 unless you do a rubbing on paper. 3 | |
