Clasen, Dorothy, 89, passed away July 31, 2004 in Oklahoma City. She was born February 8, 1915 at Union City, Oklahoma, the daughter of George and Alice Clasen. Dorothy was employed by the Okeene Telephone Co., before going to Washington, D.C. in 1941, where she was employed by the Navy Department, and received the Meritorious Civilian Service Award. She returned to Oklahoma in 1949, and retired from Tinker AFB in 1976. Dorothy was preceded in death by parents, and brother Fred Clasen. She is survived by a sister Henrietta Farrell, four nieces Mary Alice Ramsey, Anne Archie, Jeanne Haster, and Mary Ann Shiff, two nephews Donald Clasen and John Farrell, Jr. Dorothy was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, the Altar Society, Catholic Daughters Court Santa Maria #81, Catholic Women's Activities Club, Resume Book Club, NARFE, and St. Francis Young 60's. Dorothy requests memorial be made to Rosary School or to the charity of your choice. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday August 3, 2004 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
